  I love Burhops in Wilmette. Have been shopping there for 20+ years and have never gotten anything but perfect fish, shrimp, smoked salmon, etc. Their clam chowder is the best this side of New England. The staff are wonderful: highly knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and share information, patient yet efficient and friendly. There is a lovely selection of soups, and interesting other products. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but that's the nature of the product. Check them out!
